Did
Mike marry Katherine or Susan? You'll learn the answer in the sixth season premiere! (We suspect Mike and Katherine tied the
knot.)
Tom,
who's become a real estate agent, meets the new family moving to Wisteria Lane. See the section below for more info on them.
Season 6 spoilers
Goodbye
season 5, hello season 6!
DH is casting for 2 series regulars: a 40-something New York Italian landscape designer who might flirt
with one of the younger characters, and his 19 year old son who might be spending time with one of the young women on Wisteria
Lane. The mother of the family will be played by Drea de Matteo.
Julie (Andrea Bowen) will be back. Karl (Richard Burgi) will be back for many episodes
as Bree's romance with Karl continues. Bree turns to an old friend who's been out of the picture; we think that might refer
to "alcohol" but if someone else can remember an actual friend of Bree's that's been absent for a long while, feel free to
remind us! Readers' suggestions have included Peter; Betty Applewhite; Maisy Gibbons.
Maiara Walsh will be a series regular as Gabrielle's niece
Ana. Look for her to complicate Gabrielle's life.
Although Mike marries someone, the Susan/Mike/Katherine triangle will continue.
Lynette's
unexpected pregnancy tests her family.
Other spoilers
The
show is now expected to run through season 9. In other words, the show
might sign off in May of 2013. DH creator Marc Cherry has talked before about wanting to
do a series called Vicious Cheerleaders but with DH possibly running two
years beyond
his previous expectations of seven years, who knows if Vicious Cheerleaders
will ever see the light of day. A spinoff featuring Mrs. McCluskey
(Kathryn Joosten) and her sister Roberta (Lily Tomlin) seems more likely to happen.
